Where are you located? We currently operate out of the Catskills Kitchen in Liberty, NY. We schedule consultations and tastings in Middletown, NY and surrounding areas.
How do I place an order? Please complete the questionnaire on our contact page. We will schedule a complimentary design consultation, which can take place over the phone, video conference, or in person based on your preference.
Do you offer cake tastings? Yes, private tastings are available for a $40 fee. Should you select us for your event, this fee will count towards the total cost of your cake. Three flavors are included in the tasting and we will make every effort to accommodate the flavors of your choice. Tastings can be combined with design consultations.
How soon before my event should I book? We take a limited number of bookings per month to ensure our cakes get the attention they deserve. We recommend booking your design consultation at least 4-6 months before your event. If you schedule a tasting, your preferred date will be held for 2 weeks.
What are your prices? Our pricing is based on design complexity and number of servings. Simple buttercream finishes start at $7/serving. Pricing for design elements such as sugar flowers, painted surfaces, and other custom embellishments will be reflected on your quote after your consultation. Servings for all cakes are calculated based on standard wedding cake slices (1″ x 2″ x 4″).
I found a photo of a cake I love. Can you replicate it? We do not replicate cake designs, but we are happy to use photos as inspiration for a beautiful, unique cake that you’ll love!
Do you deliver? Yes. We strongly recommend delivery for tiered cakes. Delivery fees are based on distance.
Do your cakes contain gelatin? No, all of our cakes are vegetarian-friendly!
Are your cakes vegan? No, but we are currently developing vegan-friendly options. Stay tuned!
Please note that we bake and prepare our cakes in a facility that processes dairy, eggs, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, fish, and shellfish.
What are sugar flowers? We handcraft flowers using sugar paste for our custom cakes. They make a beautiful keepsake of your wedding or special event because they last indefinitely when stored in a clean, dry place such as a shadow box. Please note that although the flowers are made from edible sugar paste, most are embedded with floral wire for support and should not be eaten.
Can you use fresh flowers? Yes. We can work with your event florist to coordinate application of fresh flowers to your cake. Florists may provide this service to you, or we can provide it for an additional fee.
